The Naming Race is On

We never do things normally. We have come up with an exciting way to name our child. Please help us.

So the race is on. We are taking suggestions for a name for the girl. We know the middle name is Ann after my mother. We need a first name!!! Please give us suggestions. After getting several suggestions we will then narrow the choices down and have you vote. The name with the most votes will win. Right now, we are thinking of Grace Ann and Emily Ann. Any more ideas.

jeff thinks he's funny! ha!. . .oh, the pleasure of the name game! i have a fettish with names, some kind of obsession that started as a little girl. every doll's name was carefully selected, and i had a need to know everyone's middle name, and what "that lady" was naming her baby. i even kept notebooks full of names. even as a baby nurse it was one of my favorite parts of working in ob!. . .if you're looking for bible names, go back into the archives of suzanne's blog. i filled her comments with ideas! :). . .i vote for emily out of these 2! (mostly because suzanne's girl is Grace Ann)

Out of your 2 names listed, I like Emily as well. And I am drawing a blank as to more names. But I'll be thinking about it.

As I said on your other blog....I like Grace...even though that is Suzannes baby girls name...but I think Avery is awesome...still,I ,like Brandy, have an obsession with names especially with somewhat unusual ones but nothing too weird!I have a whole list but they all kind of follow the slightly unusual trend....LOL

Natalie! I can't give you the one I truly love because I am still in those baby making years and I might need it for one the next girl! The way Mark and I chose names was to go to our favorite books and look at characters we loved....hence the name Valerie!

okay. . .i can't keep quiet! gotta make a suggestion or 2! :) oooo, i liked avery. . .and i still like emily ann. . .i usually fall on the side of "different" names (obviously. . .kynlee, kamryn, and karis). . .so you might not like my suggestions. . .and don't worry, i don't offend easily. anyway, i also like double names, and wondered if you might use not ann, but a name with ann in it, like anna, brianne, adrianne, etc. some of the double names i like are: ann tyler, anna grace, and anna kate. i, like angela, won't give up my most favorite name of all, because we still may get the chance to use it :) (you KNOW it starts with a k! :)

Real (NOT) Funny Jeff!! As usual. I always loved the name Nichole or Nikki. That's what Nick would have been if he had been female. I think out of the two names you have picked, though, I like Grace the best. It's just a beautiful name.
